Below is a quick summary of our recent grant approvals for February.

February Grants Summary

The Otago Community Trust awarded just over $937,000 to 37 community groups late last month. The Clutha Parks Trust are celebrating after learning that Otago Community Trust approved a $300k grant to support the Naish & Centennial Park Redevelopment.

New Zealand Alpine Club received a $100,000 grant to assist with the cost of upgrading the Aspiring Hut. 

The Trust is also pleased to announce that it has once again signed on as naming rights sponsor for the Dunedin New Zealand Masters Games 2022, awarding a $100,000 grant to the Dunedin (NZ) Masters Games Trust.

Other organisations benefiting from grants in February include the Cromwell Bike Park who were awarded a $30,000 grant to help with further development of the popular Central Otago bike park; Ice Sports Dunedin were awarded a $15,000 grant to assist with the cost of replacing the stadium's flooring, Waitaki Endurance and CTR Club were awarded $13,200 to assist with the cost of holding Equestrian Sports NZ's (ESNZ) annual National Championship event for Endurance and Competitive Trail Riding in April 2021.
