This is a big year for te reo Māori. The 14th of September marks the 50th anniversary of the Māori Language Petition, an event that led to many of the kaupapa we have today, including Te Wiki o te Reo Māori. If you wish to take part in activities and events we have listed a few ideas.

Mana Rangatahi Youth Programme

Mana Rangatahi (MR) is a youth programme (aged 18-24yrs) developed in January 2020 by Heidi Renata, Co-founder and CEO of INNOV8HQ based on frameworks adapted from Mātauranga Māori.

MR is a youth leadership programme that focuses on building a personal brand and designing pathways that best align with  personality and capability.

Partnered with Transition to Work Trust, Mana Rangatahi is focused on extending its reach to youth throughout the Otago region in 2022 and beyond. Otago Community Trust has provided funding support to this project.
