It was great to regular in a recent accountability report on how one of our annual small grants to this rural community is helping connect and assist senior citizens across the district.

Each year Otago Community Trust is pleased to contribute to the Catlin's Senior Citizens Club to help towards covering the costs of transporting members out for their medical visit's to hospitals in Dunedin and Invercargill, along with their fortnightly social meetings and tiki tours to see interesting sites while out and about. 

“Due to the generosity of the "Otago Community Trust" our members gained some great enjoyment and visited some places they had never been to or seen for years, plus had some laugh's and internal pleasure from having a great day out with their friends.” 

Now that life has returned to normal, we hope our Seniors Citizens in the Catlins are back enjoying getting out and about - connecting with others.
