Otago Science Into Action is inviting applications for the 2022 Otago Participatory Science Platform (PSP) funding round.

The PSP supports community-driven research projects, where citizens and scientists join forces to tackle a shared problem or opportunity. 

 Projects covering any topics are welcomed, although in this round they are also encouraging projects that explore the potential community impacts or implications of climate change.

Key points to note:

· Projects must be predominantly undertaken within Otago.

· Applicants can request up to $20,000 (excl. GST) per project.

· Most projects should to be completed by June 2023 but longer periods may be considered.

· The deadline for this round is 10 March 2022.

Note: The team strongly encourage all groups wishing to apply — either first-timers or those who may have registered/applied previously — to register and discuss their project ideas with the Otago Science Into Action team as early as possible.
