Jen joined the Otago Community Trust in January, bringing over 18 years of experience in marketing, communications, and events.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of Otago, Jen kicked off her career with the OUSA Events Team - running everything from Orientation to Art Week, Battle of the Bands and the Blues & Golds Awards.
She went on to spend several years in Sydney working in communications before returning to Dunedin to run her own business. Most recently, Jen took on the role of managing the Dunedin Writers and Readers Festival in 2023.
In her role at OCT, Jen hopes to showcase the incredible breadth of events, initiatives and communities the Trust supports throughout the Otago region. From major events, infrastructure projects and sporting organisations to smaller community groups in need of funds for things like costumes, transportation and more, OCT's funding reach is vast.
When not representing OCT, she runs her own sewing pattern design company and co-directs the Dunedin Writers and Readers Festival. The Trust is thrilled to have her marketing and communications expertise on board.
