Penelope Pask - Grants Manager

Having worked in the education and community not-for-profit sectors, Penelope brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the community to her role.   She is passionate about serving the tangata of Otago and supporting community groups to see their vision become a reality. 

Penel joins Sue Stewart to make up our new Grants Team.

Dr Louise Kewene-Doig - Policy and Research Advisor


Dr Louise Kewene-Doig (Tainui, Maniapoto) is a multifaceted professional whose work intertwines research, creativity, and community empowerment. With academic credentials including a BMus, MMus, and PhD from the University of Otago, she has established herself as a versatile researcher and innovator, dedicated to amplifying Indigenous knowledge.

Nikita Choveaux - Community Engagement Advisor

With five years of experience in the community sector, Nikita brings a passionate and collaborative approach to community engagement. Her work is grounded in the principles of manaaki (respect, hospitality, and care) and is always seeking to build meaningful partnerships that uplift and empower communities.
