We might all be quite the experts at Zoom by now, based on the usage stats we have seen recently! However the Zoom blog site still has some interesting little peripheral ideas that you may not have thought of. Take a look here...

Also, just in case you missed the COVID-19 update on Zoom...

Please update your Zoom software. A deadline of 30 May has been set for installing the latest update because of its emphasis on security – so you need to update Zoom yourself or risk Zoom stopping you joining a meeting and requesting an update at an inconvenient time.   

• Laptop/desktop computer (Windows or OS X): you can manually update Zoom by following these instructions.  
• Mobile phone app version: these should automatically update. However, you can manually start the upgrade from the Apple App store or Google Play store.  

Please note, some staff desktops need the update to be installed by the ITSS Desktop Support team, which will be done before 30 May. If you try to do the update yourself, you will get the message "Automatic update is disabled for Zoom. Ask your IT administrator for help".
