Something to whet your appetite or get the thoughts rolling before the Forum!

If you have time, have a look at this video of the keynote address by Professor Som Naidu at a 2016 Symposium marking the 30 year anniversary of distance learning at the University of Otago. You could also read through his chapter in our 30 year anniversary book (ch. 10)

Som is now Pro Vice-Chancellor Flexible Learning & Director - Centre for Flexible Learning at the University of the South Pacific. He is also the Executive Editor of the high ranking journal, Distance Education. In his keynote, he has much to say about distance education, online learning, open learning and on-campus learning. Lots of food for thought!
