Welcome Distance Students, 2020!

Distance Learning —

Getting ready to study can often come with some challenges and hurdles.

If you are new to distance learning, then welcome!  If you an 'old hand', then welcome back!! 😀😀

At the Distance Learning office we provide strategic support for staff, departments and students to ensure that your experience at the University is a positive one.

One main concern for many who may be implicated by the Coronavirus, is being kept in the loop.  The University website has a page that will be updated regularly as more information comes to light. This is the best source of information about what the University is doing, so make sure you keep an eye on that page.

We recommend that you read the Distance Learning Info and Supportbooklet to find your way around. It is a great orientation resource for those who are only just starting out.  If you have been with us for a while, take a deeper dive into the Guide to the Library. It has some really valuable resources about researching and writing skills.

We wish you well with your studies this year, and remember, the University is full of great resources and support...it is just a matter of getting curious, and asking good questions that open up your understanding to new learning.
