To Infinity and Beyond! - for Distance Candidates

A two part programme for distance candidates in the final year of study.

Objectives:

• Identify any particular issues you are facing at this stage of candidature
  
• Be aware of the thesis examination process
  
• Prepare for an oral exam

Induction to PhD Study at the University of Otago for Distance Candidates

A two part programme for distance candidates in the first year of study.
Objectives for Induction are:

• Understand the key processes involved in doing a PhD at Otago
  
• Reflect on how your skills and experiences can supplement your research
  
• Clarify your expectations of supervision and how to get the most from your supervisors
