The Director of Distance Learning is always prepared to discuss potential research projects with interested staff.
Your interest in distance education may extend to undertaking research in the area, especially if you are working with your students in some innovative way or have a particular interest in the impact of your practice as a teacher.
CALT Grants
The Committee for the Advancement of Learning and Teaching (CALT) administers annual grants for projects in educational innovation and for research into university teaching. Several grants have been made for distance learning projects.
