Relevant Research - March 2019

You are invited to a public seminar presented by international artist and activist Hörður Torfason. A musician, actor and ”artivist”, Hörður was the founder, thinker, developer and spokesman for the organisation Raddir fólksins (“People’s voices”) following the 2008 Icelandic financial crisis. As a thinker in the Cutlery revolution and a human-rights campaigner, he has travelled widely around the world and lectured about his methods. This event will be held in Dunedin at 5.30pm on Thursday 11 April.  Please register here if you'd like to attend.

We are bringing Hörður to New Zealand as a keynote speaker at this year's national research symposium for all the Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics (ITPs) in New Zealand. We are co-hosting this with Eastern Institute of Technology, to be held in Napier on Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 April with the theme of Whanaungatanga Community-Centred Research. We enjoy collaborating with our colleagues on a project like this.

Enjoy this month's research stories.
