OPSITARA Research

We invite you to see the exhibition Ka Mua Ka Muri: Walking Backwards into the Future, at Otago Museum until 14 May 2023. This exhibition explores the people, the place, the history and the future of Otago Polytechnic. We have taught generations of New Zealanders, and we continue to provide a launching pad for careers, skills, and hobbies.

Ka Mua Ka Muri: Walking Backwards into the Future is full of hands-on interactive experiences, including a pop-up arcade, a sculpture station, and a selfie station where visitors can use props to create Instagramable backgrounds. It includes work by some of our students, like Stefan Savage-Mason and Suzanne Voice, which you can read about in this issue of our e-magazine.
