OPSITARA Research

Our publications launch late last year included a book edited by Professors Federico Freschi and Jane Venis together with Farieda Nazier from the University of Johannesburg. The Politics of Design: Privilege and Prejudice in Aotearoa New Zealand, Australia and South Africa is available free online with print copies available for purchase. We're pleased to report that this work by Federico and Jane has been recognised with an Otago Polytechnic Excellence in Research award for 2021.

Otago Polytechnic has begun publishing research in books like this to complement our long-standing academic journals and other types of publications such as this e-magazine of research stories. We hope you enjoy this month's issue.
