Kia ora koutou Otahuhu Primary whanau

Welcome back to term 2. I hope everyone has had a relaxing and enjoyable fun-filled break with your families and are looking forward to the excitement and learning that will happen here over the year.

This is my first newsletter as principal of Otahuhu Primary School. My name is Jenny Bernard and I would like to be called Whaea Jenny. I had the most amazing powhiri on Monday and want to thank you all for this experience. I am humbled and blessed to have been selected as tumuaki of this fabulous school. Please feel free to come and say hello when you are in the school. I have already met a number of parents at the school gate and look forward to building strong meaningful relationships with you all.
