End of Year Class Awards

Hilary Ford —

The end of the year is always a special time as we celebrate children who have shone and demonstrated our school values, consistently throughout the year.

Teachers have selected 3 children from their class to receive one of our special end of year awards. This year, teachers were asked to choose the child who best demonstrated the following:

Aroha- compassion

Maia- courage

Pākiki- curiosity

We are unable to have everyone in the hall at the same time so we will have three special assemblies on Wednesday 13 December:

Year 1 & 2 11:15 - 12:15pm

Year 3 &4 9:30 - 10:30am

Year 5 &6 1:30 - 2:30pm

Unfortunately, there will not be space for buggies/pushchairs in the hall, so you will need to leave these outside the hall and carry your child in to the hall.

You will be notified if your child will be receiving a special award and we ask that you do not tell them, as we like it to be a surprise to them. If your child is not going to be at school on this day, please let the classroom teacher know so they organise a time to give your child the award before they leave.
