I am happy to welcome the following teachers to the OVS team:

• Tiana Chesney who is starting her teaching journey with us at OVS. Tiana was a student at OVS. She is teaching Year 2 &3 in Rm 18.

• A.J. Philip who joins us from Greenhithe School. A.J. is an experienced teacher and is teaching Year 2 &3 in Rm 16

Unfortunately, Miss Natalie Colville is not returning as she won a teaching position at the same school her children attend. I want to thank her for her energy and work in the 4 years she worked here and wish her all the best at her new school. Miss Philip replaces Miss Colville in Rm 16.

We are also all sad to say farewell to Serene Chua, who has worked in the school office for 8 years. Serene has been a huge asset to our school and community. She has supported our Chinese-speaking families and used her knowledge and expertise with data analysis and ICT during her time with us. Serene has been studying for a Masters Degree part-time and will now be studying full-time. We wish her all the best in finishing her degree and working in her new career. We are going to miss her, but we still have our other amazing Office Staff, Fathima Juthan, who is our School Office Manager, Julie Bodger, Denise Scouller and Suki Chung. Julie, Denise, and Suki work part-time, so if you need support with translating and asking questions in Mandarin, please see Suki who works all day Monday and Friday and is available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 - 9:30 and 2 - 3.
