School is closed on Thursday 28th March for a Teacher Only Day.

This is one of the two Teacher Only Days days that the Ministry of Education has given to schools to undergo professional development.

All the schools in the Oneroa Kahui Ako are closed on this day and all teachers are attending a one day conference at Long Bay College.

SKIDS will be open if you need your child to be looked after for the day. Please contact them directly to book your child.

I appreciate that Teacher Only Days can be very difficult for working parents so we have tried to add these days on to existing holiday weekends, in the hope that some of you may be able to take a family holiday.

The second Teacher Only Day in school time is on Tuesday 29th October, which follows on from Labour Day on Monday 28th October.
