In January 2004, Oteha Valley School held its first classes. With 16 pupils, they were hosted at North Harbour Stadium because the new school was still under construction.

Three weeks later, we opened doors to our new primary school on Medallion Drive, Albany on Auckland’s North Shore. Initially, there were three pods of four classrooms, the hall, library, and administration area.

In 2009 an additional pod of eight classrooms was built.

In 2023 an 18-classroom block, Te Hononga was opened.

Our community demographic has changed since 2004, and we are very proud of the diversity of our children, staff, and parent community.
