Lunchtime Activities

Rose Neal —

The children are loving being out on the court and field all together now that we all have the same break times

This term we are offering some lunchtime clubs/activities that children can join. In Term 1 we have:

Travelwise: Miss An meets with the Year 5 &6 Travelwise Leaders to plan Travewise activities each Monday.

Badminton: Miss Oh takes the badminton Club in the hall on Wednesday.

Chess: Miss Lin takes the Chess Club on Tuesday.

Environment: Mr Moorhouse and Miss Lin are excited about their Environment club, where children will select an area for a garden, plant, and maintain it. Enviro group meets on  Thursday.

Ukelele: Mr Moorhouse and Mr Yoon are looking for children who want to learn how to play the ukelele, or who already know how to play it and want to learn and play along with others.

Library: Miss Muir is training Librarians who will be rostered to work in the library each day at lunchtime.

PALs Miss Lee has 20 very keen Physical Activity Leaders (PALs) and they get sports and PE equipment for teachers during the day for their PE and Physical Activity lessons, as well as giving out sports equipment for children to use and play with at break times

Archeologist Club: We have many children who love digging holes to look for buried treasure and dinosaur bones, but unfortunately they have been digging up the field! So we are creating an archeological dig site, complete with some 'real' dinosaurs, that our budding archeologists can dig up and allow our field to be used for other games.
