Here is a Friendly Reminder for Safe Driving and Parking Around Oteha Valley School

1. Follow Auckland Transport Parking Rules:

Let’s all do our part by not parking on the yellow lines at Fields Parade and follow the No Parking sign 8:30 – 9:15am and 2:30 - 3:15 pm. This helps keep the area safe and accessible for everyone.

No Parking

2. Slow Down for Safety – Keep Below 30km/h:

For the safety of our children, please remember to reduce your speed, especially
during pick-up and drop-off times. A little extra caution goes a long way in protecting our kids and our community.

3. Park with Care:

When parking, please follow the driving code and avoid parking facing the wrong direction (e.g., on the right-hand side of the street). This simple step helps keep traffic flowing smoothly and safely around the school.

4. Be Considerate of Each Other:
Let’s be mindful of other parents, caregivers, elderly drivers, and children. Every bit of kindness and respect makes our school environment safer and more pleasant for everyone.

In Summary:

By respecting parking rules, slowing down, parking carefully, and showing consideration for others, we can create a safer and friendlier space around Oteha Valley School.

Thank you for doing your part in keeping our school community safe!
