This is a whole school event.

Children will need:

• Footwear if wanted to run in (recommended) or barefeet

• School shirts/Jerseys

• Black coloured bottoms

• Water bottle

• Packed lunch

• Warm clothing for after running (please name all clothing).
  

Date: Wednesday 12 August 2026

Venue: HTG Hut, 155 Te Anga Road, Waitomo (across from Tokikapu Marae)

Start: 11.00 am

Events - Sub Juniors Yr 0 & 2

- Juniors Yr 3 & 4

- Intermediate Yr 5 & 6

- Seniors Yr 7 & 8

Children will race in the above order, girls then boys. (Sometimes they may be mixed and split at the finishing line.)

Food and Drinks Available

Sausages Toasted Sandwiches Hashbrowns Drinks (no fizz)

TEACHERS WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY MONEY CHILDREN BRING.

Spectators - Spectators are welcome to attend.There are areas around the pavilion for spectators to view the whole race. All spectators and marshals will need gumboots!

Parking -There is parking available at Tokikapu Marae, and a small amount of space by the yards. Please ensure children are supervised in all parking areas, and especially crossing Te Anga Road. NO parking through the gates at the yards. This is a pedestrian area where one emergency vehicle is based.

Dogs -NO dogs allowed!

Selections - Selected tamariki to represent our kura at COPS Cross Country on Wednesday 19 August, again at the HTG Hut will be notified Thursday or Friday next week.
