The WBOP Intermediate Schools Tennis Tournament was held on Wednesday 18th October at Papamoa Tennis Club under fantastic conditions.

Ōtūmoetai was well represented in both the boys and girls draws. All matches were of a high standard, with Ōtūmoetai coming away with the following excellent results:

• Boys Singles Winner - Fletcher Percy
• Girls Singles Winner - Lucy Pennington
• Girls Singles Runner Up - Scarlett Minshall

The above have qualified for the Waikato/Bays Regional Finals.

All of the Ōtūmoetai team represented the school with distinction showing superb ability and sportsmanship. One student was singled out for his sportsmanship and fair play on the day - Massi Eleftheriou.
