On Tuesday 8th August the OIS Table Tennis AIMS Squad took part in the BOP Intermediate School Championship.

Our squad is made up of 9 Boys and 16 Girls. As usual the emphasis was on representing our school and families with pride, playing hard but fair and having a great time.

Our girls’ teams came 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the team draw. With the standout performance by Siana Eleftheriou who went unbeaten throughout the day. The Boys showed great promise with William Hayes winning all his singles matches without dropping a game.

Mr Tatley said ”this was the best group he had been involved with for their overall attitude”.

The next competition is the AIMS games and this will be a huge step up for the Squad, but having the BOP comp behind them will definitely help with our preparation.
