Information about what to do if your child is absent from school or running late.

If your child is not attending school or arriving late, please let the school know via the following options (please include your name and your child’s room number and a brief reason for their absence in your message:

Please note that if you receive an absentee alert text, you can reply to this text.

Note:
If you do not give a reason for your child's absence, it will be an explained but unjustified absence.  If we have not received any communication from you within 3 days of your child's absence, our system automatically defaults to a truant absence.  

Late Students:

Students arriving late for school need to sign in at the Absentee Desk in the Resource Room. We will be contacting parents and caregivers to put in place an action plan for persistent late comers or absentees.
