Absentees or Late Students
If your child is not attending school or arriving late, please let the school know via the following options (please include your name and your child’s room number and a brief reason for their absence in your message):

Please note that if you receive an absentee alert text, you can reply to this text.
Attendance:
We expect all students to arrive to school on time, be at school every day and to be well prepared for their learning. School starts at 8:45 am and students who are late often miss the early notices, key instructions or even the mathematics, reading and writing programmes that commence before 9:00 am. Please note you are able to reply to the absentee text messages we send out. If we do not get a response, our system will automatically mark your child as truant.
Late Students:
Students arriving late for school need to sign in at the Absentee Desk in the Resource Room. We will be contacting parents and caregivers to put in place an action plan for persistent late comers or absentees.
