2023 has been a fantastic year in Sports Academy at Ōtūmoetai Intermediate.

“Maranga mai ra Hinerēhia me Tānerore.” “Arise Hinerēhia and Tānerore.”

Fun fishy Fridays and another year of Rutherford Science comes to an end.

The Performing Arts Academy (PAA) invited local rest homes and retirement villages into our school.

Congratulations to the Ōtūmoetai Intermediate School Marimba Group, our first ever Marimba Group, on their recent performance.

Room 8 were lucky enough to head down to the local gem, Fergusson Park on Monday of Week 6.

At Ōtūmoetai Intermediate, any student who wishes to sit these international competitions may do so. ICAS Assessments are online assessments, designed to assess students’ ability to apply classroom learning in new contexts, using higher order thinking and problem-solving skills.

Kate Faitl recently competed in the City2Surf 11km event.

Students recently attended the Waikato-Bays Intermediate Tennis Tournament in Rotorua.

Talia Hester recently competed with her team. Bay Twisters Tornados, at the cheerleading nationals in Auckland.

The changes will help to improve safety for pedestrians, cyclists, scooters, and cars travelling from Sherwood Street to Little John Drive, as well as improve safety for our tamariki and families using Little John Drive as an access point to Ōtūmoetai Primary School, Ōtūmoetai Intermediate School and Ōtūmoetai College and local amenities including Mitchell Park

Lunch on Line is available from Pita Pit on Fridays and Subway on Wednesdays. First day of delivery for Lunchonline for 2024 is Wednesday 14th February 2024.
