It has been a great year in marine biology with the Year 7 and Year 8 students.  Thank you all for your enthusiasm and participation in your new learning this year.  I had a great time with you all on Friday mornings.

To the Year 7's, I look forward to spending time with you next year and to the Year 8 students, best wishes for college next year. It has been a privilege to teach you over these last couple of years.

Safe holidays.

Performing Arts Academy

The Performing Arts Academy (PAA) invited local rest homes and retirement villages into our school.
by Otumoetai Intermediate Communications

On Friday 1st December the PAA hosted a myriad of local Rest Home and Retirement Village residents and their staff at school. They created and performed mini performances, which were followed by the students serving morning and afternoon tea.

Everyone involved – both students and residents, had a memorable time, as each generation could offer something unique to the other. The conversations and interactions between everyone were incredible to witness. Furthermore, I received a few comments about how welcoming our students were as they waited for our guests out at the front of the school, and guided and assisted them to our studio.

We look forward to inviting our guests back next year.
