Alternative Lunchtime Events (ALE) Club

Ōtūmoetai Intermediate School is continuing to develop a club that offers alternative activities to do at lunchtime

The programmes on offer have the intention of providing a variety of activities for students who may find lunchtimes stressful, boring, or lonely.


Indoor ALE Cub is available four days a week - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Some of the activities provided are arts and crafts, construction materials, and a variety of board games.

We are trying to source some Lego for our students, so if you have any Lego you would be willing to donate to us, we would greatly appreciate it.


Outdoor ALE Club is available every day of the week

In the coming weeks, we will also be providing similar outdoor activities for the students to play in our grassed area outside the library. These games will be set up and run by some of our wonderful Year 8 students.


Both of these programmes will be overseen by Julie Filipo.
