Evolution Aquatics Fitness Training

Evolution Aquatics offers a local aquatic fitness training opportunity. There are many sports that involve swimming but do not require competitive level competence. For example, Waterpolo, surf lifesaving and underwater hockey are swimming specific sports which benefit from swimming fitness. However, many swimming coaches and clubs have not adapted the long sessions and focus on racing techniques to meet the needs of those who participate in other water sports.

At Evolution we have developed a fitness program for these athletes to maximise fitness, skill, and with that, enjoyment. In addition, for those young athletes not involved in water sports, swimming is a great way of building up overall fitness, strength and flexibility; and most importantly for teenagers, is gentle on a growing body. Our fitness program is based at Ōtūmoetai pool. There are separate sessions for seniors and juniors, run by our highly qualified and skilled swim coaches. For $90/ month swimmers can attend as many sessions as they would like.

A link to the Fitness timetable is included below and for more information on the Evolution aquatics club, please visit https://evolutionaquatics.co.nz/
