ALE Lunchtime Club

As part of being a school that displays Manaakitanga, Otumoetai Intermediate School is developing a club that will offer alternative activities to do at lunchtime, twice a week. The programme on offer will be flexible depending on the needs of the students who attend but has the intention of providing things to do for students who may find lunchtimes stressful, boring, or lonely.
Some of the events will lend themselves to competitions, while others will develop skills in craft or construction while building social skills and a sense of community in those who attend.
The activities will run in Room 16 on Tuesday and Thursday at lunchtime and will be overseen by Marg Brewerton.
