BMX Championships

Liam Clifford recently competed in the Oceania BMX Championships held at the Rotorua BMX track. He took part in both the 12 boys and the 11-12 Cruiser male.

Racing was pretty tough and unfortunately on his main bike (20 inch wheel) he lucked out in the semi final finishing 5th.

In his Cruiser bike (24 inch wheel) final he was trailing until the last straight where he just won by half a wheel length. Some great skills, determination and also stamina on the day. The Tauranga club again punching above it’s weight with many riders finishing on the Podium.
