There are now auction tubs outside each of the classrooms. Large baby blue 60ltr flexi tubs.St Francis - CHILDREN'S auction tub, St Mary's - WOMEN'S auction tub, St Patrick's - MEN'S auction tub, St Paul's - HOME & GARDEN auction tubs. You can populate more than one bin not just the bin outside the classroom that your child is in.I can get more tubs if prizes are beginning to overflow.Please see below for examples of what you can put into tubs and if you are new to Lip Sync, please ask me if unsure. See below also for a reminder of the other auction prizes/packages we have up for grabs. Last year we had 15 individual auctions. The year before we had 21.

You all know how auctions work and we are looking this year for really big prizes that we can auction individually. eg w/e away with restaurant voucher, adventure & thrill seekers packages, etc. etc. Only quality, new items please. Nothing that has been used and prizes that you would be happy to receive if you won an auction yourself.Remember to request all vouchers to be dated from 18 June onwards. An example of auction packages this year may include:

• Kids Birthday Party Package - entertainment
• Family Package - usually includes w/e away with dining & clothing vouchers plus lots more
• Childrens Package - sporting (eg swimming lessons, sporting gear) and gaming (toys/board games NB: age 6yrs and above), dining vouchers and lots more
• Mens Package - men's health and grooming, DIY voucher, alcohol, car washes, fitness, vouchers, sporting fixtures.
• Womens Package - beauty salon packages, hair salon vouchers, jewellery voucher, massage, facial and clothing vouchers, cafe vouchers, etc.
• Home Package- linen, DIY/handyman, home styling, tradesperson, whiteware, kitchen appliances.
• Garden Package - w/e away, gardening tools and equipment,
• Principal for the Day - auction bid and won by one of the parents at school. Your child is Mr Kane for the day.
• Framed sporting memorabilia - eg All Blacks Jersey
• Other sporting gear - the sporting arena is where the auctions tend to soar so please tap into your contacts.
• Artwork - abstract
• W/es away - baches, etc,
• Corporate Golf team entry - for the new parents, this is our second annual fundraiser usually around early Nov.
• Miscellaneous auction packages

Vouchers are always good as they have a monetary value associated with them and do not break!

Can I please ask that you call on your contacts from previous years to donate prizes or vouchers. New contacts would be even better. Sumner businesses are covered so please think beyond the causeway and the greater metropolis of town! If you have a quality item that you, your family or extended family would like to donate, great.  

If not, please hone in on your various networks both personal and business.
All quality auction prizes should be in original packaging (where applicable) and unused. Prizes should be something that you would be happy to receive if you were to bid on and win an auction. Whatever we put in will make a lasting impression, good or bad so please remember that. We don't want the quality of auction goods to let us down.

Please also remember to ask for company logos to be sent through to you in PDF or JPEG format. This ensures advertising for the sponsor and helps to promote the auction better. Easier to identify a sponsor by their logo than reading text.

I've attached a PDF of the sponsorship letter which you can forward to businesses so that they can reconcile a potential donation with their accounts.

It is best not to leave auction prize sourcing until the last minute as everyone will be plenty busy with rehearsals, organising, etc.
