John Kane —

A busy week for our Year 7/8 class who have returned from a 4-day camp in Wellington.  Be sure to have a look at the photos attached in the newsletter.

As we enter Holy Week we are all reminded of the significance of this week as Christians. Today the Year 5-8 children took part in Reconciliation with Father Dan and a visiting priest. Tomorrow our seniors will perform the Stations of the Cross in the Church from 11.30am, all are welcome.

Our introduction of The Arts into our curriculum has been a resounding success if recent performances are any indication. We will be having a music and dance assembly in term two so that our children can showcase their array of talents.

We bid farewell to Zoe Hall and her mother Katherine who will be moving up to Golden Bay. Both Katherine and Zoe have been a wonderful addition to the Star of the Sea family and we will miss them both.

Have a wonderful Easter holiday, have fun, be safe and I look forward to catching up with everyone in term two.

John
