Building Renovations

Things are progressing well with the upgrade of St Paul's (empty classroom) and St Patrick's. Without wanting to be held to a definitive timeline, due to the unpredictability of building work in the current climate, it is hoped that St Paul's will be finished by the end of the month. The intention is then for St Patrick's children to move into the shiny new classroom until the end of the year to allow their room to be renovated. The current St Patrick's classroom will then likely stay empty until the end of the year, when we will make decisions where everyone will be housed in 2023, based on the school roll and class make-up.

Lip Sync Kids

What a fabulous occasion for the school and amazing turn-out of families to watch our Lip Syncers. As always, the ever patient Adele managed to piece everything together with her usual calm efficiency. Congratulations to all those that performed and our worthy winners.

Zone Sports

We had netball and a football team enter the zone sports tournament on Tuesday afternoon. Despite a chilly day at Hagley Park, our Footballers returned triumphant and will proudly represent us at the Canterbury Finals on September 15th.

Ski Trip

Our Year 5-8s and a good proportion of the parents joined us for a fabulous day at Mt Hutt yesterday. We were blessed with lots of snow and it was a big hit for all involved. A huge thank you to Petrina and Sarah for their organisation of the day and the brilliant parents who helped out.

Nice to see the sun shining as I type away, have a lovely weekend everyone.
