In Room 5, with Mrs. B, we are learning to make CO2 dragster cars. We learnt about aerodynamics and how to build a fast car through engaging videos and hands-on instructions.

Beginning with a block of Balsa wood, we honed our carving and sanding skills to shape our cars for optimal speed. We then moved on to spray painting, applying two coats of white primer and buffing for a smooth finish.

Next, we will attach the wheels in preparation for the big race day on December 4th. Outram School will witness the excitement of our cars speeding down the track!

We are all excited to see who wins the two trophies for fastest car and best-designed car!
