Tēnā koutou

It was great to get along to tech on Friday with the Year 7 & 8s. Each Friday Room 5 head to Taieri College for their technology subjects. Over the course of the year they rotate around Textiles, Food and Hard Materials (wood and metal work). The students in food are doing recipe testing, the textile students have designed and are completing their cushions and the hard materials are making wooden boxes or moving on to make bird feeders.

Concerns and Complaints

If you want a chat, have questions or a small concern don’t hesitate to make contact with your child’s classroom teacher or myself. Issues that are small are so much easier to deal with rather than waiting. We can’t guarantee to solve everything, but we are here to listen and work with you. The concerns and complaints document has been updated on SchoolDocs. I have added it here for your reference. I have also left our flowchart version which you may find clearer. This is always available on the school website, through SchoolDocs.

Enjoy having your tamariki home for a couple of weeks. If you are one of these lucky ones taking some annual leave between Easter and Anzac Day weekend, enjoy your break too. We will see everyone back healthy and well on Monday 28th April.
