This year, ANZAC day is the Friday before Term 2 starts.

There will be a local commemoration service that Outram School families are welcome to participate in. On Friday 25th April anyone who would like to take part assembles at Outram Four Square at 11am. Students should wear their Outram School tee shirts. Everyone marches to the war memorial on Holyhead Street, where speeches will be made, and some senior students will lay a wreath on behalf of the school. If children have medals from relatives they would like to wear, they wear these on their right side.

A reminder to any Year 5-8 students who are completing the CAPES programme, that participating in an ANZAC service will give them points. A photo of them participating will be the evidence they require to tick this off.
