International Scout Scarf Day ~ Tuesday 1st August
International Scout scarf day was invented in the year 2007 by Scout groups from all over the world to acknowledge the first Scout camp in the year 1907 from the founder of Scouts and his name was Robert Baden-Powell.
Scout scarf day was made to let former and current Scout members of all ages wear their scarfs in pride of the Scouting tradition.
The Scarf was and is still used today by many people for many uses. Some of these uses are that they can be used as a sling in case you break your arm or wrist. A bandage can be used for a splint or for any other medical needs, it can stop your neck from being sunburnt and can be a makeshift rope in case you are in trouble.
Wear your Scouts Scarf to School on Tuesday 1st of August!
