Torpedo7 often has an end of season sale prior to our trip, so keep an eye out for that. You can usually get ski pants for around half their usual price at these. Their goggles are reasonably affordable too.

I also have the following items that I am happy to loan...

1x pair 6-8 years ski pants

1x pair 8-10 years ski pants

1x 9-10 years ski jacket

1x women's ski jacket (M)

Layers are best. A base layer of thermal top and leggings, a breathable mid layer such as a fleece, and an outer layer of waterproof ski pants and jacket. Don't forget warm socks! Waterproof gloves are important, and a scarf or a buff for keeping the neck warm. Sunglasses or ski goggles are essential for all ages - the glare from the snow (and hopefully the sun) is intense. Most of you have opted to wear helmets, so a woolly hat isn't essential, but is nice to wear when a helmet isn't on your head.
