Kia ora, it's all go in Room 6 this year. We are getting to know our new teacher and have all settled in well.

This year we are collaborating with Room 5 for Maths. We often start with a moveNprove question and then split into workshops or independent activities. We are currently learning about Statistical Investigations. Some of the workshops have been on graphing and finding the Mean, Median and Mode of some collected data. 

We have really been enjoying the new playground, big games of dodgeball and swimming. We have also been exploring digital music on a Chromebook (drum bit/ Incredibox) and learning some new songs in singing.

We enjoy Cameo Writing and have produced some great poems. Using our imaginations and descriptive language to shape some great pieces of writing.
