Hello Outram School! My name is Ian Thomas, and I am your new school chaplain!

A little bit about me: I am a youth worker for the Saddle Hill Foundation Trust and have a huge passion for working alongside children and young people. Some of the Year 7/8 children at Outram School may already know me from my work with the Ground Zero and Summit programmes. I'm currently working towards the goal of studying in 2026 to become a teacher, and I have lots of hobbies like frisbee golf, playing guitar, and reading!  

I will be working in some classrooms getting to know the students and teachers at Outram School and sharing my talents. I will also be with the children in the playground on Fridays,  where I am available to listen and encourage the children while having fun together.

I look forward to coming in from the start of Term 4 for the rest of the year!
