Room 6 PALs
The Junior classes are really enjoying playing a range of games and having fun at morning tea time.
What is PALs? (physical activity leader).
PALs is aimed at empowering and supporting students with the development of their leadership skills. This involves planning, organising and running games and activities for a designated class within the school.
Monday - Nixon, Lachlan and Nicholas - Room 10
Tuesday - Polly and Greer - Room 2
Wednesday - Lane, Ryken and Oliver - Room 8
Thursday -Ruby and Kiana - Room 4
Friday - Hannah and Tegra - Room 3
Some games and activities that the PALs run are… Dodgeball, parachute fun, sneak up on granny, indoor hockey, football, obstacle course, infinity tag and many more.
The children have had lots of fun during the sessions, they always leave with a big smile and are excited about coming back.
We are looking forward to some PALs training on the 18th July from Sport Otago. They will be working with the PALs out here at our school.
