Room 5 has been busy this term learning how to conduct a science investigation, in preparation for our Science Fair. We have been doing some fun science in the classroom, one example being, investigating the change in matter when creating "spiders". This was an exciting way to complete a science investigation and we all got a yummy spider drink at the end.
We have also completed some perspective writing, which linked in with our Anzac Study. We had to write from the perspective of an object or item from WW1. Please scroll down to read some of the pieces of writing we created.
This Term Rooms 5,6,7 and 8 are participating in a P.E. rotation on a Friday afternoon. The sports are Rugby, Football, Netball and Hockey. We spend two sessions at each sport and learn some of the basic skills of the sport and apply these skills in game situations. It has been a lot of fun getting outside and learning skills in sports that we do not play.
Room 5 is lucky enough to have Miss Ford-Squires (College Teacher) return back to our classroom for her 4-week placement. We are looking forward to her teaching us and all the fun and exciting activities she has planned over the next 4 weeks.
