Room 4 have had a busy Term 2 so far! We have had Miss B (Claudia Bugaud), our final year student teacher with us for the past few weeks. She has been on control and has taken a variety of lessons in Health, Maths and Literacy. She will complete another placement in August which will go for 5 weeks. We also really enjoyed learning about the Human Body when Pip and Harold the Giraffe visited us. There are lots of amazing things to know about our bodies and how to look after them well! We are excited to be off to the Art Gallery and Museum next Friday, which will also have a focus on our Flight topic.
We are very lucky in the Juniors to have a helicopter visit us (tentatively) on Wednesday the 8th at 9:30am for our Flight Inquiry. This will be confirmed closer to the time and will depend on the weather and other emergencies. We have had two sessions of PMC Time (Play, Make, Create) which we will continue to do through to Terms 3 and 4. The children are enjoying working with others, being curious, problem solving, being brave, and team work. It is great to see the older children working so well with the younger ones. The children tend to come back 'buzzing' when they are sharing their reflections.
