The proposed primary school teacher's strike action is only for primary schools not Area Schools

Dear Parents/Caregivers,

Currently in the media you may have heard of reports of a strike by Primary School teachers and Primary School Principals, and primary schools closing for a day on the 15th August.

Oxford Area School is an Area school. Our Teachers' Collective Agreement does not expire until early next year. Therefore Oxford Area School is unaffected by the proposed industrial action and will remain open on Wednesday 15 August.
