On Thursday 27th August 80 Oxford Area students went skiing at Porter Heights ski field.

Thursday 27th August, a wonderful bunch of Oxford Area School students went up to Porter Heights Ski Field for the day. As we headed up the mountain the snow started to fall and it was very cold. Luckily, once everyone had their gear on the clouds moved on and we had a beautiful clear blue day. All of the students started the day with a lesson with an instructor. After the lessons, the students then got to spend the rest of the day skiing and snowboarding. It was wonderful to see the students learning new skills, demonstrating the school values and having a fantastic day. A big thank you to the parent helpers who came along - it was great to have you all there.
