Another busy term on the Secondary School sports calendar.

Basketball: 

We will be entering a girls team and three boys teams (Year 9, Intermediate Boys and Senior Boys) into the Friday night competition. Games are either held at home or secondary schools across Christchurch.

Thank you to everyone who has completed the online registration form. A reminder that this needs to be completed by Wednesday 12 May. Training times are to be arranged and singlets will be handed out next week.

I will send out more information regarding individual teams over the weekend.

We are still on the look out for coaches for these teams so please contact me if you can assist. It could be a former student or someone in the wider community. If anyone would like to be the Floor Controller at home game (at the gym/ GP Hall), please let me know. I am happy to show you what is involved in this role.

Sunday 16th Rogaine (Canterbury Secondary Schools event)

Wednesday 19th  Junior Netball starts

Tuesday 1st June Canterbury Secondary Schools Cross Country - CHCH

Tuesday 15th June Canterbury Secondary Schools Gymnastics - CHCH

CASAfest: I would personally like to thank everyone in both the school and wider community who assisted with CASAfest and helped to make it a successful event. Many of you I spoke to on the phone or exchanged numerous emails with and I look forward to meeting you in person one day! We now have a break from organising CASAfest for six years :)
