10 year 5 & 6 students participated in the Christchurch Music Festival Choir on Thursday 7th of November.

The children went into the CHCH Town Hall on the morning of to once again rehearse with the other schools involved and the musical directors. The Town Hall was quite an experience for the children who loved how fancy it was! The evening performance was wonderful. All of the children enjoyed listening to the special choirs perform and getting to sing for an audience with an array of musical instruments there to accompany them. It was also special for them to see the selected children's concert band and orchestra in action made up of children their own age. They did an excellent job and represented OAS with pride.
