On Wednesday 2nd December we will be holding our transition evening for Year 6 students going into Year 7 and Year 8 students going into Year 9.

Starting at 5 pm, in Puaka current Year 6 students and their whanau will be given a chance to meet the Dean of Year 7/8 and hear about what types of changes these students will experience in the new syndicate. 

At 5.30 pm there will be the opportunity for students to learn about what they can expect as Year 9 students in 2021 when they move out of a home room environment into a Learning Mentor group with a range of Elective and Connected teachers. This will include meeting the Year 9-10 Dean.

From 6 pm, there will be a chance for interested whanau to attend our inaugral Rau Whetū Celebration of Learning. There will be a range of static displays, live performance and activities from our current Years 9 and 10 students showcasing their learning in Electives and Connected classes as well as English and Mathematics during Term 4.
